Futurstan is a jazz quartet with a twist.
Behind the alto sax, piano, bass, and drums you will find four composers whose roots span the globe from Tanzania to Hungary, Bulgaria, and Russia. Spilling out jazz fusion and punk, Sub-Saharan funk and Mediterranean folk, the band is setting out to make new discoveries.
Drums
Marci Bognar is a multi-instrumentalist and composer from Budapest, Hungary. He has honed his skills as a songwriter, drummer and guitarist with several rock and folk bands in Hungary, including Kamikaze Scotsmen and A Bence Kalandjai.
